Please join the Ethnography Lab at the University of Toronto for a methods workshop: Software in Ethnographic Research: Methods & a Cautionary Tale from Qualitative Data Analysis & MediaCAT, featuring Zachary Batist and Alejandro Paz.

Time/Date: Tuesday, February 8, 2022, 2 – 3pm ET

Location: Zoom

Description: Ever wondered what software programs might have to offer ethnographers? Join Zachary Batist and Alejandro Paz to consider some of the possibilities and limits of software for qualitative research. Batist will present a talk titled, “Working with QDA,” and Paz, “MediaCAT: A Cautionary Tale.”

Format: Each presenter will speak for 20 minutes, followed by 20 mintues for discussion.
